So many books, so little time... Between the online repositories and the big-box retailers, there is no shortage of good titles out there. The question is: which ones will help me with my marketing and communications? We started with a list of 350 or so titles, developed in association with the Editors’ Association of Canada. To that, we added a whack of marketing books from the well known to the little known. Then we reduced it over slow heat for the better part of a month until we had what we thought was a manageable list of 50 reference books. That’s what we are presenting here. Knowing that even that was a bit hefty, we included our personal Top Ten titles that we think should be on every writer or marketer’s desk. Do you have a personal favourite we missed? Let us know! In the meantime, dive in and learn a thing or two. Then get out there and communicate—or market—like crazy! |
