We’re all in this together

Our success isn’t measured just by how many clients we assist, the number of programs, ideas, products or services we help market or the revenues we generate. We measure success also by how much we can contribute to making this a better community. After all, like you, we’ve chosen to live, work and raise our families here.

The Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Network (CSAPN) is a national initiative that was co-founded by Adams Jette partner Ron Jette and CTV Ottawa News anchor and producer, Kimothy Walker. Currently one in two females and one in three boys will experience an unwanted sexual act during their lives with fully 80 percent of those acts occurring before the victims reach adulthood. The CSAPN supports research and prevention efforts while offering an online searchable database of programs and services available country-wide.

Orléans–Cumberland Community Resource Centre ensures that food is available for every table and that community social-service resources are available where and when they are needed. We encourage others to assist us in supporting this most worthy organization.

The Ottawa-area motorcycle Ride For Dad raises upwards of $250,000 each year to fight prostate cancer, the most common cancer among Canadian men. We’ve been involved with this event for the past five years.

For 100 years, The Ottawa Mission has responded to those in need with food, clothing and shelter. We were pleased to offer our expertise freely during a recent rebranding of the Mission.

The Kiwanis Club of Orléans just built one of the largest children’s playgrounds in Canada. Adams Jette was pleased to not only be on site to help with the build, but also donate the first shade tree, a ginkgo biloba, from a species that’s been around for 255 million years. (We figured if the dinosaurs couldn’t beat it, life with the kids should be a walk in the park, pun intended.)
